  • Objective To investigate the effects of Xiaotansanjie Recipe on protein metabolic of S180 bearing mice and discuss its mechanism. Methods Forty mice were randomly divided into 4 groups: XiaotanSanjie Recipe group(A group);FT-207 group (B group); NS group(C group); normal group. The mice were sacrificed on the 4th week. The weights of mice were measured. Total protein, albumin and CRP of blood were detected . The expression of muscle NF-κB was analyzed by immunohistochemistry. Results Xiaotansanjie Recipe can up-regulate total protein and albumin of blood, down-regulate blood CRP in mice. It also can protect the structure of the muscle. Conclusion Xiaotansanjie Recipe adjusted the protein metabolic abnormalities in tumor-bearing mice.It might be one of the mechanism responsible for its anti-tumor effects.
