The Relationship Between Analysis of AgNORs and the Prognosis of Children with Non-Hodgkins Lymphomas

  • In this study, the number and the area of AgNORs were measured among 33children with non-Hodgkins lymphomas (NHL). The relationship between the parameter of AgNORs, the clinical character Working Formulation and survival was analyzed. The results show:1.There is a statistic significance between AgNORs and survival,Working Formulation and age (P0. 05). The more the number and the larger the area, the shorter survival is. Vice verse. Therefor, using the number and the area of AgNORs may forecast the prognosis for children with NHL. 2. Further, with the median of AgNORs, we can forecast the prognosis of children with NHL. The survival time of the patients with a AgNORs median was significantly shorter than that of those with a low AgNORs median.Above all,AgNORs is an important prognostic indicator for children with NHL.
