Cervical Metastatic Adenocarcinoma from Gastric Reports 11 Cases

  • Gastric cancer metastasis to cervix is very rary. This paper reports 11 cases.By systemic analysis.the result shows that:(1)The most patients were younger than 40;(2) This disease always occurs in three years after the treatment of original tumor;(3) The pathological feutures were predominantly entirely undifferentiated or poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma;(4) Reginoal lymph mode had been involved at the time of gastrectomg in all patients. The author thinks the metasta- sis pattern of this diseases may be by lymphatic drainage and we suggests that pelvic examenation should be routine in the follow up after surgery of gastric cancer.
