Abstract:
Objective To study the expression ofβ2cat and NF2κB in human esophageal carcinoma and it s significance. Methods The expression ofβ2cat and NF2κB in 78 cases of esophageal carcinoma and 40 ca2 ses of normal esophageal were detected by immunohistochemical staining. Results The positive expres2 sion rate of β2cat in esophageal carcinoma was 70. 51 %, which was much higher than that in normal e2 sophageal (22. 50 %) ( P < 0. 05) . The positive expression rate of NF2κB in esophageal carcinoma was 58. 87 %, and which was higher than that in normal esophageal (15. 00 %) ( P < 0. 05) . The expression of β2cat was closely correlated with the differentiation, TNM and lymph nodes metastasis ( P < 0. 05), while NF2κB positive staining was correlated with TNM and lymph nodes metastasis ( P < 0. 05) . The expression β2cat and NF2κB in esophageal carcinoma was correlated ( P < 0. 05) . Conclusion β2cat and NF2κB is up2 regulated in esophageal carcinoma, both of them may play an important role in metastasis and proliferation during the occurance of esophageal carcinoma.
