The Clinical Efficacy of Pirarublcin Based Combination Chemotherapy for 51 Cases of Various Malignancies

  • Fifty-one patients with various malignancies were treated with pirarubicin(THP)combination chemotherapy.44 patients were assessable for response and 51patients for toxicity.The results showed that the overall response rate was 59.1%(26/44),with 13 pastients complete response and 13 patients partial response. The response rate of malignant lymphomas, breast cancer, non-small lung cancer and gastric cancer were 85.0% (17/20), 57.1%(4/7),28.6%(2/7),and 33.3%(2/6),respectively. Myelosuppression was main toxicity of pirarubicin, but alopecia was relatively slight and cardiac, liver, renal toxicity were mild.
