he Meta-Analysis For Both Nutrition Interference And Chinese Herbal Mallcine's Interruption's Usefulness in prevention of Esophageal Cancer in china

  • Using the method of Meta-analysis, tow writers make a stahshcal analysis to lhirteen study-references of recent 10 years that major in both nutrihonal inteifemee and Chinese herbal medicine's interruption's heatment having been used to reduce the incident rate of esophageal cancer in the high-risk area in China. The ccumulative cases of the heated group of serious epithelial hmplasia of esophageal are 4574 cases, and the control group are 3946 cases; the cumulative cases of the treated group of slight epithelial hyperplasia of esophageal are 2634 cases and the control group are 2534cases. The difference in rate d of both the control group and the treated group's incident of the cancer in used as the figure of effect. After nutrtion-interferring, the patients of serious epithelial hyperplasia of esophageal d = 0. 063, 95% CI (-0. 2459 ~ 0. 2585); the Patients of slight epithelial hyperplasia of esophageal d = 0. 0053, 95% CI(-0.0018 ~ 0. 0124); and after treating with chinese herbal medicine in the group of serious epithelial hypeofasia of esophageal d = 0. 0613, 95 % CI(0.0456 0.0769). There are no signifificant difference in all the date for test consistency. Meta-analysis of this Passage indicates that use by means of nutrihonal interference toreduce the high-risk group of esophageal cancer and to protect the common group is not really sure. But chinese helbal medicine's effects in treating esophageal precancerous pathological changes are worthy of being highly considered.
