The experimential research of reverse to human lung cancer cells by elemene emulsion

Elemene emulsion,a new drug,is an anti-tumor active compound extracted from a traditional chinese herbal medicine Gurcurma WenYuJin Y.HCHEN.We observed its effect on lung cancer cells in vitro.The drug inhibited the growth of cells and decreased the mixture of 3H-TdR and 3H-UR.FCM showed cell proportion increased at G0/G1 stage and decreased at S stage. Besides,the ultrastructure showed the morphological changes, such as microvilli decrement, nucleus pyknosis, et al.Signs of induction of differentiation were observed in above studies.
