A REPORT OF 25 CASES OF RHABDOMYOSARCOMA

From 1975—1985, a total of 25 patients with rhabdomyosarcoma treated by various metheds were analized, of which 18 were male and 7 were female. The average age is 35 years old. This kind of tumor arises in various parts of the body: the head and neck, the extremities, the trunk and testis, histological types including embryon 1, alveolar, pleomorphic, botryoid and unclassic. The 5-year survival rate is 12％. Prognosis is related to clinical stage, pathologic classification and treatment method. proper wide excision tumor combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy is important in improving the treatment results.
