CLINICAL OBSERVATION OF GINSENOSIDES IN THE TREATMENT OF LEUCOPENIA DURING CHEMOTHERAPY

Gmsenosides were extracted from stem and leaf of Panax Ginseng, The effect of Ginsenosides on leucopenis developed during cliemotherapy in 37 advanced cancer patients(38 courses) was studies, Ginsenosides were given orally 50~100mg,three tim-es daily,After administration of Ginsenosides the peripheral leucocyte count increased to above 4,000/mm³ within two weeks in 82% of leucopenia patients, The feet of the drug was small, Ginsenosides was an effective drug in promoting the covcry of lcucocytc counts.
