INHIBITORY EFFCT OF LAK CELLS ON EXPERIMENTAL PULMONARY METASTASIS OF MAMMARY CARCINOMA (SST一2)IN SHR RATS

  • Lymphokme=activated killer cells (LAK) were induced from normal splenocytes with IL-2 .Passive administration of LAK cells inhibied the formation of ezperime- atal pulmonary metast asis of‘mammary carcinoma (SST-2)in SHR rats and the survival times of the tumor-bearing animals were prolonged, According to the result of in vitro 51Cr-release, it was clear that LAK cells could kill SST--2 ce11s,A more effective result was obtained when a combination of LAK cells and II,一2 was used.
