Two Radiotherapeutic Methods Treated on Carcinoma of Cervix after 8 years

From February 1984 to February 1992, treated on Carcinoma of Cervix with two radiotherapeutic methods(intraoavitary plus extrinsio radio therapy and ex trinsio radio therapy on four spo is in box form) and followed up 5 year; after the therapy .Aim is to compare the therapeudio effects and survival qualities beween the two methods. Intraoavitary plus extrinsic radiotherapy adheres to the following major steps first conduct broad exlrinsio radiotherapy 46 Gy and book parts of the pelvic cavity; then make on extrinsic radiotherapy 14-20 Gy with a lead plate of 4om thick standing beween; at the same time perform intraoavitrary after-loading irradiation 18-24 Gy at point A every week (no extrinsic radiotherapy on the every day).Extrinsic radiotherapy on four spots in box form makes extrinsic therapy on the front and back parts and two sides of the pelvic cavity in turn with a total dosage of 60-65 Gy;then conduct narrow scopic ex trinsic therapy 10-12 Gy. The results showed that 5 yeah survival rate are each 77%an d 51%;the rates of the recurrence of partial and whole pelvis cavity focuses after 2 years are each 12. 5%and 30%;the rates of transpers after 2 years are each 17. 5%and 37%the rates of the each complications after 5 year;in two groups between are significant differences(P<0.01-0.05).We suggest that.
