  • 23 patients with advanced cervical cancer histologically proven were evaluated for response after treatment.They were divided into two groups: 1)radiosensitizing group(cisplatin plus irradiation, 9 pat Tent s)，2) control group(radiotherapy alone, 14 patients)，cisplatin was administered by intraarterial infusion to enhance radiosensitivity. 21 times of treatment were performed in the radiosensitizing group. All patients received radical radiotherapy to the tumor. The result show that the response rate of prim ary tumor in racliosensitizing group w as higher than in control group at the half close or fall close of the treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).SER of cisplatin to primary lesion to partial remission and complete remission was 1.35 and 1.15 Mild side effects such as nausea, vomitting were ohserved.
