  • Objective To study the clinical meaning of P16 expression in ovarian cancer. We detected the expression of P16 in 19 cases of ovarian cancer and 10 cases of normal ovarians by using S-P immunohis to-chemical method. The results showed that in the ovarian cancer group P16 positive rate was 63.2%,3 cases advanced ovarian cancer were negative expressions and 4 cases Ic were weak positive expressions; and in the norm al ovarians group, the positive expression rate was 80%and weak positive expression rate was 10%.On the basis of above study.the mutation and deletion of P16 were closely related to recurrence devopement clinical stage and pathological grading of ovarian turner.
