Abstract
In order to investigate the significance of HLA-DR, Fas, bd-2 and bax expression in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).Immunohistochemical analysis with monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies for HLA DR, Fas, bd-2 and bax were used to detected the protein in 40 cases of HCC .The results showed that 18 cases in tumor cells were positive for H LA-DR antigen (positive rate 45%),but no expression in adjacent tissues. 6 cases in tumor cells and 20 cases in adjacent tissues were positive for Fas(positive rate 15%and 58.8%)6 cases in tumor cells(15%)and 8 cases in adjacent tissues(20%)were positive for bcl-2.8 cases in tumor cells (20%)and 22 cases in adjacent tissues (62.5%)were positive for bax.results indicated that(1).Aberrant expression of HLA-DR antigen may be related to tumorigen esis of HCC.(2)Fas may not play amajor role in apoptosis in HCC.(3)The changes of bcl-2 and bax expression may play a role in the tumorigeresis of HCC by effecting on the apoptosis state of hepatocyte.
