Research of TGFβI and TGFβI II Receptors in Pancreatic Cancer

More Information
  • Purpose By analysis of TGFβ I and TGFβ II receptors, the relationship of two receptors was investigated in pancreatic cancer. Methods Twelve nofmal pancreas and 35 patients with pancreatic cancer were collected and analyzed by the ABC immunohistochemistry. Less than P<0.05 was significantly considered. Results The positive rates of TGFβI and TGFβII receptors were 68.6%(24/35)and 60%(21/35) respectively, both 51.4%(18/35 );The expressive correlation betty een TGFβ I and TGFβ II receptor genes, phase in pancreatic cancer was found(P<0.01),but TGFβ II receptor has relationshiop with differentiation(P<0.05). Conclusion The results suggest tha expression of two receptors has relationship with pancreatic cancer and there is singnificance in diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
