Cure effect analysis of 82 cases of late esaphageal carcinoma is radiotherapy with chemotherapy or radiotherapy

From january in 1990 to october in 1994, we had a contrart,analysis between the test group (radiotherapy and chemotherapy) and the general (radiotherapy) on 82 cases of late esophageal carcinoma. The survival rate for one year of the test group and the general group was 68.3% and 46.3%; the survival rate for three years was 34.8% and 8.7%, It was obviously different between the two groups (P0.05). In the cases with supraclavicular lymph nodes metastasis, the survival rate for one years of the test group and the genaral group was 63.6% and 40.0% there was obvious difference (P0.05), but the survival rate for three years was 28.6% and 8.3%, and there was no obvious difference (P0.05). There was no close relationship between the length of pathological Changes and the prognosis. For the recent cure result, CR rate of test group is higher than that of group is higher than that of general group. The symptom of deglutition in the test group was better.
