THE STUDY OF TROPHOBLASTICS VERSUS THEIR SPOUSES ON SISTER CHROMATID EXCHANGE AND THE ACTIVITY OF NUCLEOLAR ORGANIZER REGIONS

  • The artical described the study of chromosome in patients with benign mole, malignant mole and choriocarcinoma yersus their spouses on sister chromatid exchange and the activity of nucleolar organizer regions (NOR).The results suggested that the pathogenecity of malignant mole and choriocarcinoma might be associated withpatient's abnormal ability of DNA repair and damage of DNA. The potential and activable NOR might have no relation to the tumors. Although the patient's spouses might play a role in the occurrence of the trophoblastic tumors, the retults excluded the property of the genetic matehial of the spouses in connection with the occurrence of the tumors on SCE and the a ctivity of NOR.
