THE DISTRIBUTION OF COHORT AND DISTRICT OF GASTRIC MALIG NANCY IN YANBIAN:ANALYSIS OF 1517 CASES

From 1963-1987, 1517 patients (95 were Korean, 595 were Han) with gastric malignancy were proved by histopathology in Yanbian prefecture. This is an area where people of Korean and Han live in compact communities.The ratio of Korean and Han population is 40.32:57.4, the high frequency areas of this prefecture are Yanji City and Longjing County in where people of Korean Iived more than Han. The low frequency areas are Dunhua County and Wangqing County where Han more than Korean, and revealed the ratio of incidental cohort is Korean>Han. The age-range was 40-69 (mean age 53.23，male 55.17, female 50.91，m:f=2. 50:1，the most common pathological type is undifferential malignancy.
