SERTOLI CELL TUMOR OF THE OVARY: A CLINICOPATHOLOGICAL STUDY OF FIVE CASES

Incidence of the ovarian sertoli cell tumor was rarer, The patho-histological clas-sification and the morphologic structures of this tumor are very complicated and is easy to misdiagnosed, Here, we reviewed and analyzed five cases of sertoli cell tumor of the ovary that treated in our Hospital from 1964 to 1986. The results showed. it is a benign or borderline tumor. the histological origin of it is uncer-tain and there is no specific symptoms and signs as it compaxed with all other ovarian tumors.A correct diagnosis in most of the cases depends upon pathological check-up after operation.
