THE ANTITUMOR ACTIVITY OF LT AND THE EFFECT OF IL-2 ON IT'S FUNCTION

Department of Microbiology,Henan Medical University, Zheng Zhou.The effect of LT containing supernatant produced by lectin-stimulated human lymphocytes off, tumor cells and the relation between IL-2 and LT were studied in this article，results show that the LT containing supernatants had cytotox-icities on many different kind of tumor cells from human and mice，that actinomycin D increased the LT activities on target cells，and that LL-2 hadthe ability to increase the cytotoeicity of human PBMC on tumor cells，after being treated with LT, the target cells were mire easy to kill by PBMC as well.Combination of these two lymphokines could augment the antitumor activities of human PBMC greatly.These results suggest that these two lyrnahokines may be used as cancer therapeutic and prophylactic agents.
