Observations and clinic analysis of combined chemotherapy on advancedmelanocy-toms with tamoxifen in 16 cases

Abstract The effects of combined chemotherapy on advanced melanocy - toma .with tamoxifen in 16cases were reported. Treatment for such diseases consists mainly of surgery, with high recurrence, radiotherapy, in low susceptibility, or pure chemotherapy whose effective rate used to be'less than 30 percent recently i while our work showed a short--term effeCtive rate up to 62. 5 percent with the combined chemotherapy of TAN + DTIC + CCNU in cases of malignant melanocy toma with existence of estrogen retrogen. With aged women patients, the effeCts were even better, being of lower POisonous or side effects and of simplicity. The sufferers would prefer taking this treatment.
