Abstract
68 patients with advanced ovarian Cancer had been treated in our hospital from June 1987 to June 1992. of them, 15 cases with stage Ⅱ, 38 cases with stage Ⅲ, 5cases with stage Ⅳ. 37 patients were treated by CP-containing regimens, 20 patience were administered by the intraperitoneal route (IP) with CF (CP+5-Fu), 17 by intravenous infusion (Ⅳ) with CVC (CP+VCR+CTX). 31 patients were treated by DDP-containing regimens. 18 by IP with PF (DDP+S-Fu), 13 by Ⅳ with PVC (DDP+VCR+CTX). The response rate was 59% to rnntaining CP regimens and 52% to containing DDP regimens. It has been demonstrated that CP produces results equivalent to those that can be achieved with DDP. In addition, gastrointeatinal reaction and renal toxicity were less severe in regimens containing CP than in regimens containing DDP. However, CP had more marked myelosuppessive effect.
