Comparative observation of Mn-SOD and LSA in patients with lung cancer

Mn-SOD activity and LSA level were measured in 68 patients with lung cancer,28 patients with benign pulmonary disease and 35 normal subjects.The results showed that the positive rate(77.94%) and diagnostic accuracy rate(79.17%) of Mn-SOD activity for lung cancer were equal to those of LSA.The positive rate and diagnostic accuracy rate of LSA level for lung cancer were 70.6% and 82.8%.Mn-SOD activity,LSA level and their positive rate related to the types of lung cancer.The changes of Mn-SOD activty and LSA level in 15 patients with lung cancer were related to the results of surgical treatment.
