Extended Radical Operation of Rectal Carcinoma and Its Long-term Therpeutic Efficacy

  • Ther results of the rules of lymphy nodes metastasis in rectal carcinoma were introduced in this paper. According with the rules, extendedly radical operation (ERO) and pointed out the main procedures and complication of the operation. The results showed that the 5-years and 10-years survival rates was 68 and 47 percent, resepectively, and had a significant difference when compared to generally radical operation. Because urinary tube and vesseles had been dissected adequately in ERO, it hadn't enlarged bleeding and injuried urinary tube, but exended operation scope could lead to urinary and sexual dysfunction because of automatic nerves injuried. The ERO of preserving automatic nerves could decrease this kind of side-effect and improve survival rates, as well as life qulity of postoperation
