Giant Cell Tumor of Bone,Clincopathological Research of 67 Cases

  • Abstract The clinicpoathologic research of 67 cased giant cell tumor of bone was reported, Forty-six cases of them was male and 21 female. 80. 1 % was seen in patients younger 40 years of age. The sites most, commonly affected are the lower end of the femur and the upper end of the tibia. (31 cases ).According to the classification of Jaffe's, Ⅰ.Ⅱ and Ⅲ are 31, 23 and 13, respectively' The total incidence of recurrence is 59 %. The X-ray features with malignancy appearance of giant cell tumor of bone are disscused in detail. The combination of clinic,X-ray and pathology may play an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of giant cell tumor of bone.
