Analysis of treatment of A Combined chemotherapy in 38 Patients with brain metastasis of lung cancer

  • A combined chemotherapy programe of SVPD, designed by the author personally, is used in treating 38 patients with brain metastasis of lung cancer. As a result of the therapy, 8 of them got complete remission, 20 got partial remission, 7 got no response, and other 3 became more worse. The total effective rate is 73. 6%. The common toxic and side reactions are leukopenia, thrombocytopenia and mild gastrointestinal reactions. All of these toxic reactions disappeared or allivated afer symptomatic treatment. NO damage to the kidney. heart. and liver was found. So duringthe progress of chemotherapy, alkalinization of urine is not necessary. As a whole,this combined chemotherapy SVPD can be tolerated by many patients.
