Short-term Effect of DDP-based combined chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer

  • From January 1986 to October 1993, 120 advanced non-mall cell lung cancer patients were treated with DDP-based combined chemotherapy in our hospital. The short-term effect of treatment was encouraging. The complete response (CR) rate was 2. 5%, partial response (PR) rate was 31. 7%. The total response rate (CR+PR) was 34. 1 %.The major side effects were gastrointestinal reaction and suppression of bone marrow
