Effection of All Trans-retinoic Acid on the NK Cell Activity in liver Precancerous Condition of Rat

Nature killer cell activity was detected in the liver precancerous condition of Wistar rat by lactate dehydrogenase (LOH) -release method, Significant decrease of NK activity was found in liver precancerous condition induced by diethylnitrosamine for 12 weeks, which was prevented by all trans-retinoic acid (RA). Therefore, we conclude that RA can enhance NK activity . which may be one of the important mechanisms for its chemoprevention of tumours
