Abstract
The peripheral blood T-cell subsets of 68 patients with primary liver cancers (PLC) were e-valuated using ABC staining during intraarterial chemotherapy (IAC)" The T4/TS ration of PLC patients increased significantly after 1-2 courses of IAC, while T4 cells declined and TS cells in-creased after 3-5 courses of IAC.Moreover, the T4/T8 ration of complete remission and partial remission ptients was markedly higher than those of advanced patients. The results suggests that courses of IAC seem to have influence on the cellular immune function of cancer patients, and therefore, the optimal control of chemotherapeutic dose and period, the co-adminstration of bio-logical response modifiers should be advocated during IAC to improve long-term effects of IAC.
