A Comparative Study of Pirarubicin(THP) and Adriamycin(ADM)on Side Effects

71 cases(183 treatment courses)of various malignancies were treated with THP containing combination chemotherapy,while 106 cases(269 treatment courses) were treated with ADM combinations as contrl.A comparative study was carried out between two groups on side effects caused from THP or ADM.The resuits showed that the most remarkable difference was that in the THP group alopecia,side effects on heart,nausea and vomting were far less than in the ADM control group.It is not significance for the differences between two groups on other side effects including marrow damage,oral cavity ulcer,body temperature going up,and the function damage on liver or kidney.
