Study on apoptosis of hepatocellular carcinoma cells after intrahepatic arterial angiotensin Ⅱ infusion induced hypertension and chemoembolization (IHCE )

Apoptosis of hepatocellular carcinoma cells in 11 cases with two stage resection after IHCE was studied,compared with 9 cases with two stage resection after TCE and 10 cases with first stage resection.Apoptotic tumor cells showed typical morphological appearence in H·E Stainnig slides.Quantification of apoptosis using flow cytometry,the apoptotic cells accounted for 42.8±27.4%in IHCE group,25.3±10.8 0 o in TCE group,and 4.9±3.4%in first stage resection group.IHCE cound induce more a oontnsis of tumor cells than TCE did.
