Abstract
Department of Pathology HeBei Medical College No. 2 Hospital 60 cases of nasal and nasopharyngeal lymphomas were reported, including 41cases of midline malignant histocytosis (MMH) and 19 cases of malignant nonHodgkin's lymphoma (MNHL). Among the MMH, 24 cases were T-cell lymphoma, proved by immunohistochemistry. Among the MNHL, there were 4 cases of T-cell lymphoma and 6 cases of B-cell lymphoma, comfirmed by immunohistochemistry. The comparative observation On the MMH and on the MNHL morphologically demonstrated that the former reveals a granulated structure, usually consisting of some atypical cells, lymphoepithelial lession and invasive vascular paries, and that the latter shows a pattern the same as lymphoma of lymph node.Acording to the clinical analysis, the MMH mainly appears local distruction and fever, and the MNHL mainly manifests stuffiness, deafness and local tumor. Therefore, we think that the MMH may be a special lymphoma, and has an independent clinical and pathological characteristics.
