Differential diagnosis between reactive follicular hyperplasia and follicular lymphoma

Distinction between follicular lymphoma and reactive follicular hyperplasia is a common problem in routine pathological diagnosis. The main fields are as follows:(1) clinical course; (2) architectural features of lymph node; (3) cytological polymorphism or monomorphism; (4) immunohistochemistry of monoclonal lymphocytes; (5) bcl-2 gene product.
