The campartmentectomy treatment softtissue sarcomas in the extremity

The authous reported 10 cases of soft tissue sarcomas in the extremities thatwere treated with campartmentectomy. 8 were recurrent cases. All pationts had thedata of follow-up.The time of follow-up was from 6-43 months(mean 19. 6months).2 cases were local recurrence.One was metastases, The mean recurrenttime of two cases were 8.5 months but it was 2.2 months before the campartmentectomy.Authous believe that the campartmentectomy is a radical operation of morethe advantage with the limb-salvage but only Ⅱ A and the part of Ⅱ B may use.theother problems of the campartmentectomy in the extremities were discussed too.
