The Value of Free Sailic Acid(FSA)Determination in Lung Cancer Diagnosis

  • Free Sailic Acid (PSA) of serum was determined in lung cancer patients,pulmonary tuberculosis, pulmonary benign diseases and miscell aneous malignant diseases.The result showed that FSA was higher in lung cancer patients apparently.especially in squamous lung cancer patients (the positive boundary value was 77mg/dl.(P0. 01).The positive diagnostic rate for squamous lung cancer was 93%,thespecificity was 86. 5%. Our results suggested that FSA was an important index fordifferential diagnosis of squamous lung cancer and it also had certain singificancerfor early diagnosis. of lung cancer.
