Abstract
The results of clinical and pathologic analysis of 1300 gastric mucosa biopsiesshowed that mucosal damage was the main pathogenic and aggravating factor for various kinds of gastric disorders. It was found that antrun was the most predominant site, with angulue mext. The incidence of gastric disorder was high in spring and autumn, with male preponderance over female (6. 7: 1). With the exception of gastric cancer which was most commonly seen in the aged, all of the gastric disorders in our series affected the middle-aged and the onset of gastric cancer was apparently shifted to an earlier age.
