The Expression of IL-2 Receptor gene and its significance in leukemia

  • The expression of IL-2 receptor gene in 116 cases with leukemia was analysed using polymerase chain reaction (PCR)method. The expression rates were highly in T-ALL, CLL, c-ALL and ANLL, 100%, 100%, 71. 43% or 65%,respectively. More positiv cases could found with PCR method as compared with APPAP or immunofluorescence analysis. Suggesting that it had more sensitive and accurate. Our data indicated that the most leukemia cells expressed the IL-2 receptor gene and that IL-2 receptor would be a common feuture of leukemia cells and suggest that IL-2 may be play a certain role in proliferation of leukemia cells. Therefore, it may be to reevaluate the therapeutical value of LAK cells and IL-2 by leukemia in clinic.
