Primary adenocarcinoma is a rare tumor in the bladder. 16 cases were reported,13 males and 3 females. The positive staining reaction that was obtained with the PAS/AB HID/AB technique indicates the presence neutral and acidic mucin. Thus the result shows:9 cases show positive staining reactions in Keratin and 13 cases in CEA (ABC method).we consider that the primary adenocarcinoma of bladder arise from glandular epithelium metaplasia of the vesical transitional epithelium. The relevance of pathologic characters to the prognosis of tumor was briefly discussed.
