Leiomyosarcoma of Stomach .A Report of cases

From 1981 to 1991 Cases of Leiomyosarcoma were treated surgically.There were 3 males and 5 females.Age of the patients ranged from 36 to 73 years·abdom- final mass and upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage were the most common signs·The diagnosis were confirmed in 2 patients before operation.6 patients were diagnosed erroneously to be cases.Resection gastric cancer 2 cases cardiac cancer 1 case.benign leiomyoma 3 rate was 100%<8/8).The-year surival rate was 30%(4/8).
