  • From Nov .1974 through Dec.1993，31 patients with T,NoMo glottic carcino-ma were treated in our hospital with 600C or lOMV x-ray.Give continuously through area-reduced fields (small field)after completing DT 40GY/4wk through large field .At the same time vocal rest were given .The result showed that ，infection control dehydration and ，years survival rates were 28/28，16/16，10/11，3/3 respectively.Among them，one received total la-ryngectomy after recurrence 6 years and 8 months later，and has lived for 10 years and 7 months·The longerest survival periods was 19 years·It is suggested that ra-diotherapy were the first selection to stage I glottic carainoma.
