The Significance of Muco-histo-chemical Classification of Differentiated Micro-carcinoma of Stomach in Early Pathology Diagnosis and Differential Diagnosis

  • Authors had studied the features of 56 cases of differentiated micro-carcinoma of stomach in types of cancer cells and metatypic cells with muco-histo-chemical stain. The result showed that among low metatypic gastric predominant cancer there was a tendency to be superficial in layer and elevated;while in intestinal predominant type and intestinal type, often tended to be in whole layer and of pitting type.In high metatypic cancer, no matter what type of cell it was, inclined to be in whole layer and pitted. In high metatypic cancer there was seldomly residual glandular duct structure seen in the non-cancerous area.Indicating muco-histo-chemical stain having an important meaning in early diagnosis of micro-carcinoma of stomach, and in differentiation of its malignancy.
