  • Using immunohistochemistry S-P method,we detected the expression of c-erbB-2 gene in transitional cell bladder carcinoma specimens from 40 patients and studied the positive P185 expression at associated with the advancement of the tumor grade,the tumor stage and the recurrence rate of bladder cancer.The positive P185 expression rate in bladder carcinoma specimens was 40%.The positive P185 expression rate of G3 tumors was higher than that of G1 and/or G2(P0.05)and was corresponded to the advancement of tumor stage(0.05<P<0.10)and the recurrence rate(P<0.05).The results revealed that the c-erbB-2 gene pro-duct may be a prognostic marker of bladder carcinomas.
