Clinical Study on the effect of Chemical Therapy to Stomach Cancer after Operation

  • This paper comparatively analyses the effect of chemical therapy to 81 cases onstomach cancer after operation, which are all at the developing stage from 1980 to 1986in our hospital. And all the cases are divided into two comparative groups stochastically. One group has 41 cases treated by MF while the other group has 40 cases only by FT-207 at intervals or VFT plus Chinese traditional medicine irregularly. The results ofthe two groups are distinctly different (P<0.01).The survival rate in 5 years of thefirst group is 14.63%,and the survival rate of the second is 5%.The MF therapy is verified in the clinical application that the effect of controlling the cancer into stability isvery distinct on a short-period-treatment basis with minimal side effect as long as thepatients receive the regular chemical treatment of consolidation according to the correctprocedures within two years.
