Clinical Observation of the Combination of the Chemotherapy and the Support healthy Energy Decoction in the Management of Advanced Lung Cancers

Therapeutic effect of the support healthy energy decoction plus chemotherapy(group A) and chemotherapy only (group B)in the treatment of advanced lung cancerswas compared. Methods: Comparsion of 65 advancde lung cancers was carried out,group A-35 cases and group B-30 cases. The clinical and pathological results werecompared by the X2 test. Results: The group A gave an overall response rate 54.28%,and the group B 30% (P0.05). Meaniwhile, the group A had a better improvement ofthe clinical symptoms and less side toxicities. Conclusion: In advanced lung cancer casesas treated with combination of chemotherapy and the support healthy energy decoction,clinical results were more satisfied than those of group B.
