  • From 1976 to 1989, 22 patients with crainopharyngiomas proved by pathology weretreated in our hospital. 16 patients were male and 6 female. The patients were agesrange from 4 to 45 years. 18 patients were treated with postoperative radiotherapy intwo months, 4 were treated by radiotherapy in 6 to 18 months after surgery recurrence,The 5-, 10-years survival rate were 59.9% and 28.6%, respectively, This resultdemmonstrates that the incidence and ages are lower in the group than the literature reported in our country. We consider that the age, courscof disease and extent of removalare the factors influencing prognosis.
