Abstract
Theraputic result of 72 patients with non Hodgkin's lymphomas (NHL) are evaluated. 70.8% of the cases were out of the lymph nodes, 45.8% at Ⅲ、Ⅳstage. Allpathologically comfirmed. 22 patients received extansion field radiotherapy (R); 50 pa-tients received radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy (RC). The overall survivalrates of 3、5、10、15 and18yean were 61.1 %、54.0%、43.8%、35.0% 、and 31.3%, respectively. the 3、5 、10、15 and 18 year survival rates were 59.1%、53.2%、23.3%、11.l% and (0/5)in R group; 61.4% 、57.7% 、53.2% 、41.1% and 38.3% in RC group,re-spectively. Although the condition of the patients in RC group was more severe than Rgroup, The long term survival rates in RC group were higher than those in R group. The preliminary results shown that radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy is moreeffective in improving long term survival rates for NHL than radiotherapy alone.
