Microvessal quantitation and morphology pathologic study in renal cell carcinoma

Microvessal quantitation and morphology in 48 patients with renal cell carcinoma was analyzed by immunohistochemistry using antibody to facto Ⅷ-related antigen. The result showed that:there were four types in microvessal morphology. Microvessal quantitation much more in the high histological grade(P0.01).There was no diffuse interstice type found in histological grade I specimens and only it was obsened in grade Ⅲ.The result also suggested that the microvessal quantitation and the presence of diffuse interstice type may have a close correlation to the blood metastasis to other organs in renal cell carcinoma.
