Abstract

40 Cases of cervical carcinoma were studied to investigate the relationship between Epstein—Barr virus infection and the Carcinoma. Epstein—Barr Virus was present in 29 cases (72.5%)by PCR. This observation suggests a positive association between Epstein—Barr Virus and Carcinoma of the Cervix.
