Explore The Curative Effect of Radiotherapy For Early Stage Esophageal Carcinoma

Effect analysis of radiotherapy in 64 case of early stage esophageal carcinoma.The survival rate of 5, 10 and 15 years were respectively: 71.9%(46/64), 46.9%(30/64) and 31.3%(20/64). Local recurrence and distance metastasis were the majorcause of death. Rountine fraction radiotherapy with three fields was a better way forearly stage esophageal carcinome. Optimal radiation dose was 50-60Gy/5-6w.Analisising effect and long-term survival quality of those patients, we believe that radiotherapy is one of the effective ways of treating early stage esophageal carcinorna.
