Exprssion and significance of c-erbB-2, P⁵³ and PCNA in human lung carcinoma

The expression of c-erbB-2, P⁵³ and PCNA were detected in human lungcarcinoma and lung benign tumor by s-p immunohistochemical staining on sections. The significance of c-erbB-2, P⁵³ and PCNA in lung carcinoma, prognosis was discussed. The results are as folloWs: (l)There were significant correlation between expression of c-erbB-2 oncoprotein and the histologic subtypes, lymph node metastasis andsurrival rale in lung carcinoma. (2)There was significant correlation between expressionof P53 gene protein and lung carcinoma from smokes. (3)The PCNA expression wasclosely assciated with clinical TNM stages of lung carcinoma and the prognosis of patients. our resuts suggest that the expression of both c-erbB-2 and PCNA may be usedas a good biologic marker of prognosis in lung carcimoma.
